This Privacy Policy explains how Algo Cafe Pvt Ltd, trading as Algo Developer ("we", "us", "our"), collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Algo Developer web application (the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

Account information: your name, email address, and an encrypted password, collected when you register.
Strategy data: the descriptions, strategies, condition sets, and generated code you create and save.
Wallet & transaction data: your credit balance and a record of top-ups and generation charges (amounts, timestamps, and the related payment reference).
Sharing data: email addresses of users you choose to share strategies with.
Technical data: basic usage and security logs (such as sign-in timestamps and IP addresses) generated automatically by our infrastructure providers.

2. How We Use Your Information

To create and manage your account and authenticate your sign-ins.
To save your strategies and provide AI code generation, and to maintain your wallet balance and transaction history.
To process payments and apply credits to the correct account.
To enable strategy sharing between accounts you explicitly authorise.
To maintain the security and reliability of the Service.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party. We do not use your strategy data for any purpose other than providing the Service to you.

3. Payments

Payments are processed by Razorpay Software Pvt Ltd. We do not collect or store your card, UPI, or bank details — these are handled directly by Razorpay under their own privacy policy. We receive only a confirmation of payment (amount, status, payment reference, and the email used) in order to credit your wallet.

4. Where Your Data Is Stored

Account, strategy, and wallet data are stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS) (Amazon Cognito for authentication and Amazon DynamoDB for application data), hosted in the AWS Asia Pacific (Mumbai) region and operated by Amazon Web Services, Inc. AI generation is processed via AWS and the Anthropic Claude API. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. See AWS Privacy Notice.

5. Who Can See Your Strategies

Your strategies are private to your account by default. They become visible to another user only when you explicitly share them with that user's email address. You can revoke sharing at any time from the Share dialog.

6. Cookies and Local Storage

The Service uses browser storage solely to keep you signed in (Amazon Cognito session tokens). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Your account, strategy, and wallet data are retained until you delete them or request account deletion. You may delete individual strategies at any time. To delete your entire account and associated data, email support@algodeveloper.in and we will action the request within 30 days. We may retain minimal transaction records where required by law (e.g. tax/accounting).

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for persons under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
